Hey, I'm Beau

Certified pickleball coach. Lifelong player. Curious human. Founder of the Lighten Up Movement.

I teach real skills—and I teach them well. When you relax, your real game shows up.

Because how we show up on the court. That’s usually how we show up in life.
Competitive. Avoidant. People-pleasing. Performing.

Let’s shift that—while still getting better.

One-on-One Lessons

Wanna learn the game-or just stop overthinking your dinks and drops?

These 1-on-1s move at your pace. No pressure. Just progress. Just playful skilled learning.

You'll get better. But more than that-you'll leave feeling lighter.

Group Live Ball (90 Minutes)

High-energy, rotating partner sessions where we hit, sweat, and connect.

Think fitness class meets flow state meets pickleball.

It's fun. It's real. And it's a space where being a perfectly imperfect human is welcome.

The Real Stuff Sneaks In

Sometimes, you'll want to win so bad it hurts. You'll shrink. Or snap. Or go quiet. That's not you. That's the role showing up.

At Lighten Up Pickleball, we don't overanalyze-we play with it all.

You'll start to notice who's driving your game... and what happens when you drop the act.

It's not therapy. But it's definitely healing.

Feeling the Shift?

If something clicks... and you're ready to go deeper:

-Themed 2-hour clinics on real-life patters on and off the court.

-Half-day workshops with play + meditation & reflection.

-Weekend retreats with play, presence, and a reset

It's not required. But when you're ready-it's here.

Got Questions?

What exactly happens in this experience?

It's usually 2 hours on the court. Fun warm-ups, real games, and a little guidance mixed in. Play, sweat, laughter, notice some stuff about how you shop up on and off the court that might change your life.

Do people need to know how to play pickleball?

You don't need to be a pro (or even "good"), but you should be willing to move, swing, and keep the ball in play. If you know you'll trip over your own feet and can't hit it over the net at all, maybe sit this one out-or come watch and cheer before deciding to sign up.

How big can a group be?

Flexible. We can adjust to adapt your courts and number of players. Best with minimum of 8-24 people so everyone gets plenty of play time and connection.

Who leads it?

That'd be me. You'll get a real facilitator who knows pickleball (4-4.5 DUPR on any given day), and how to keep it real (without getting to woo-woo). Want to know who you're learning from? Check out About the Founder page.

Can this work for our retreat / club / resort?

Yes. It's designed to be flexible. Clubs can offer it as a special event, resorts can add it to wellness programming, even retreats can build it in as a half-day experience.
